Cookie Policy
Last updated: 24 August 2026
This policy explains how Brq and Brq-powered stores may use cookies and similar browser technologies.
1What cookies are
Cookies are small values stored by a browser. They can keep a user signed in, remember interface preferences, support security, or help measure how a website is used.
2Cookies used by Brq
- Essential session cookies: used to authenticate Brq account holders and store customers and to protect account sessions.
- Preference cookies: used to remember settings such as dashboard language or interface state.
- Operational and analytics technologies: used to understand performance, errors, and product usage where enabled.
- Similar browser storage: Brq-powered storefronts may keep non-sensitive visitor and session identifiers in local storage for first-party store analytics. Local storage is not a cookie but can be cleared through browser controls.
3Merchant-configured storefront tools
A merchant may configure supported analytics or marketing integrations for their own storefront. Those independent services may set their own cookies or identifiers under the merchant's instructions and their own policies. The merchant is responsible for any notice or consent required for those storefront tools.
4Managing cookies
Browser settings can block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in, saved preferences, cart behavior, or other parts of the service from working correctly.
